Mortgage Loan Closer




WSFS is currently seeking a Mortgage Loan Closer for our WSFS Mortgage division. The Mortgage Loan Closer will prepare and review critical closing documents for mortgage home loans and will be responsible for working closely with title companies to ensure all policies and procedures are maintained. The incumbent will work closely with the Loan Processors to ensure accuracy of documents and submissions. The incumbent will be focusing on mortgage assignment creation, including but not limited to creating assignments, title searches, and understanding chain of title and vesting. The incumbent will be responsible for meeting strict closing deadlines. Qualified candidates must be able to work under aggressive time constraints and have a proven track record of dependability and attendance.

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday position, located at our Wayne Corporate Offices or in Philadelphia, PA. Training will be located in Wayne, PA.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate s Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Bachelor s degree is strongly preferred.
Previous mortgage processing or closing experience is preferred.
Must have previous customer service experience.
Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements is strongly preferred.
Must have a proven track record of dependability and the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be proficient in using Windows and Microsoft Office products.
Must be able to work in a deadline driven environment

Physical Demands: The physical demands described below must be met by an Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Incumbent will be required to stand for intermittent periods of time.
Incumbent may be required to sit for prolonged periods of time.
Dexterity is mandatory as this job requires frequent use of hands and fingers.
The incumbent will be required to walk, reach with hands and arms, push items overhead, occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The incumbent will also be required to talk, hear, see, read and write.
This position requires regular lifting and moving of 10-25 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
