Summary
Our client, a world leader in security and new cloud solutions is seeking an Executive Assistant to support a C-level executive. This position will be based near the San Mateo, CA office. This position requires maintaining a very high level of confidentiality and flawless attention to details. The Executive Assistant will be expected to independently manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative support to one senior-level executive
- Organize and secure highly confidential company information
- Organize and attend meetings: onsite/offsite
- Coordinate with various service providers (CPAs, law firms, insurance providers, HR firms, etc.)
- Create presentations
- Conduct market research related to procurement of products and services
- Lead special projects and negotiate terms
- Prepare correspondence, report expenses, submit applications, plan events, arrange travel, scheduling meetings, etc.
- Run personal errands for the executive

Requirements
- Experience as an executive assistant to executive
- Able to communicate effectively with all sort of staff as well as clients and vendors
- Flawless attention to details
- Strong executive presence
- Dedicated to high ethical standards, highly trustworthy and has high integrity
- Comfortable dealing with and handling confidential information
- Resourceful and ability to work independently and with minimal direction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- BS in engineering or equivalent degree is a minimum
- Prior experience working in a start-up environment and supporting executive during rapid expansion phase
- Strong references from previous managers/supervisors
