This position is contingent upon contract award.Position Description: The Senior Acquisition Logistics Analyst performs logistic analysis activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) products. Develops and applies advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in the solution of logistics requirements and problems pertaining to Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Manpower/Personnel/Training, RAM, provisioning, etc. Assists in planning and coordinating acquisition logistics across system life cycles and implementation of systems and processes. Responsible for identifying, researching, and evaluating new and emerging technology and best practices to support assigned systems ILS. This support encompasses analyzing supportability goals and logistics requirements for acquisition programs; ensuring ILS solutions and plans (Acquisition Management Plans, Product Support Management Plans, and Test Plans) support ALRE systems and are integrated into the program planning phases; and participating in program meetings and reviews.Experience/Skills Required: 10 or more years of logistics acquisition/in-service supportability analysis planning and development related to ALRE systems. Specific experience required with Integrated Logistics Support - Comprehensive knowledge in the acquisition and life cycle support of DoD systems, subsystems, and components/equipment; Systems Analysis- Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will effect out comes; Systems Evaluation- Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system; and, Technical Documentation Acquisition Regulations- Proficient in interpretation and understanding of Technical Documentation and Federal Acquisition Regulations.Education Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
