POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides support for the receiving department by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans and prepares all necessary documents for Interplant receivers.
Coordinates with other company facilities to correct errors in shipments.
Completes and processes appropriate receiving documentation.
Receives and logs shipments.
Maintains and distributes receiving logs and other reports as needed.
Complies with all company policies and procedures.
Performs other duties that may be assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma plus 3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have excellent PC Skills including Word, Excel and use of a mainframe system.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all unites of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Strong attention to detail.
