The Juniper Pig is dedicated to returning the old-world , sustainable craft of butchery to our neighborhoods. We are committed to providing the highest quality of fresh meats, charcuterie and menu items. We aim to foster a healthy way of eating and a natural and sustainable lifestyle and support producers dedicated to responsible raising of animals. Primary responsibilities include preparing ingredients for menu items and other prepared foods and prepare made-to-order sandwiches and other menu items.

Duties & Responsibilities

Help create and maintain a culture of friendliness, helpfulness and authenticity, where customer experience is the measure of success

Take menu orders and prepare menu items to customer satisfaction

Work efficiently and independently in all aspects of scratch made production

Multi-task between orders while working a busy flattop station (prepping, restocking and cleaning) throughout shift

Diligently follow, practice and be an example of proper food handling and sanitation guidelines

Practice good and safe knife skills

Position Requirements

3 months experience in food prep in a comparable setting (deli, butcher shop, grocery store department or QSR)

1+ year of experience total in food/culinary trade (some combination of culinary school, line cooking, food production, catering, etc.

Available to work a varied schedule; including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
