GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The purpose of this position is to interface with vendors to produce quotes and proposals. Plan and coordinate sale and delivery of Chainflex Cable. Position is also responsible for communicating with igus sales and customers directly on timelines and deadlines to ensure that all customer needs are met. Must employ engineering mindset and techniques in everyday work to produce sound and correct outputs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide direct customer support by responding to customer inquiries and requests
  • Provide Sales support by responding to customer inquiries and requests
  • Project management of chainflex key business topics sales, training
  • Providing a material quote of superior quality and competitiveness in a timely manner acceptable to the customer
  • Reviewing all pricing received for correctness and accuracy
  • Assembling and validating the final quote workup including material and labor
  • Ensuring that all quotes are reviewed for BOM completeness and compliant with customer requirements and company standards
  • To ensure that all quotes are completed in a timely and consistent manner
  • Keep management and sales team members informed of all relevant activity
  • Training new hires on the basics of chainflex.
  • Training ongoing and continuous chainflex topics to sales people
  • Interfacing with the cable suppliers as required to solicit competitive material quotes, and internally with sales and engineering
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak clearly and listen carefully
  • The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time and type on keyboard
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor s degree in an Engineering field (electrical focus preferred)
  • Previous electrical experience required
  • Strong technical skills: able to present technical concepts; provide customers with hands-on technique using our products
  • Self-starter; motivated, team focused and results driven
  • Strong organizational, and time management skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office
Our position is Full Time Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM. We offer a competitive base salary, along with quarterly commission on sales growth. Our benefits program includes medical and dental insurance, 401(k) plan and paid time-off.
