We are seeking an independent and self-motivated individual to join our Finance Shared Services team as a Collections Analyst at our global headquarters in Washington, DC .


CoStar is seeking a Collections Analyst who will be an exceptional addition to our team. As a Collections Analyst at CoStar, you will work directly with management, the sales team and our clients each day to deliver a world class customer collections service. You will assist in the implementation of new systmes and processes to drive results and reduce the aging cycle. The right person for this role is at home in high paced environments, can adapt to new processes, concepts and skills; has excellent verbal and written communication skills and is motivated to achieve our business objectives and common goals. What You ll do

Resolve customer issues related to slow pay or non-payment of invoices through pro-active communication with clients and the sales team..

Drive high customer satisfaction and retention levels through relationship building, professional and courteous communication.

Become proficient in understanding of Company A/R lifecycle within a 6-month time frame.

Escalate slow or non-pay situations at 60-days resulting in development of alternative payment methods or payment plans.


Who Are You?


4+ years of high volume B2B Collections experience or B.A. and 1+ years related Customer support services.

A self-starter, who can work independently and stay organized with large quantities of data.

Ability to network and communicate effectively to a vast array of professionals.

Able to work within time deadlines by prioritizing workload and understanding the priority business outcomes..

Positive attitude and flexible, especially in the period of month/quarter/year-end closing.

Strong proficiency in Excel.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple groups on multiple levels.

Strong focus and attention to details.

A positive, team-oriented attitude to fit our culture.
