Provides data entry of student scholarship information from files into database. Assists scholarship program manager with scholarship program duties.
Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry.
Check source documents for accuracy.
Verify data and correct data where necessary.
Obtain further information for incomplete documents.
Combine and rearrange data from source documents where required.
Enters data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information using an established procedure and through a detailed web-based interface.
Transcribe information into required electronic format.
Scan documents into document management systems or databases.
Check completed work for accuracy.
Store completed documents in designated locations.
Maintain logbooks or records of activities and tasks.
Respond to requests for information and access relevant files.
Print information when required.
Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities.
Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Performs other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor.

Attention to detail
Knowledge and practical experience with postsecondary institutions and student financial aid.
Competent in communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, and following instructions
Ability to make simple computations and tabulations accurately and with reasonable speed
Experience with web-based applications and internet use.
Knowledge and desire to learn of ANCSA, Alaska Native history and the cultural heritage of Doyon shareholders.
Ability to travel as necessary to fulfill the mission of the Foundation.
