The Collections Specialists also need to ensure that all work is performed in compliance with company policies as well as local, state and federal collections laws and regulations.

Responsibilities


  • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Follow communication scripts when handling different topics
  • Identify customers needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
  • Build sustainable relationships and engage customers
  • Keep records of all conversations in call center database
  • Call consumers to secure payments on past due accounts

  • Previous experience in a customer support role
  • Professional phone etiquette and solid negotiating skills
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Positive attitude and strong customer service aptitude
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Willingness to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • High school degree
