Our client has an immediate need for multiple executive level sales positions located in Los Angeles. The ideal candidates have extensive knowledge of cannabis and selling cannabis products, particularly CBD and/or THC. The position is responsible for leading the national sales team for the client s product line. As VP of Sales, you will help grow and expand the market presence throughout North America.


Our client is a fast-paced company, growing exponentially and in need of leaders who can take the reins, provide strategy and direction to Sales Directors and Account Executives, while also driving their sales team to hit numbers they have never achieved before.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop plans and strategies to achieve the company s sales goals
  • Put in place infrastructure, team structure, processes and systems to support the success of the sales team, with a mind to continuous improvement
  • Create a culture of success with ongoing business and goal achievement
  • Drive the sales team to deliver profitable growth
  • Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
  • Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the team to achieve their targets
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Compile information and data related to current and prospective customer interactions
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity
  • Partner with Marketing to establish successful support and channel partner programs

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated sales leadership experience in a high-growth business, entering new markets or defining a new category, building and managing new territories
  • Experience working with, influencing and collaborating with cross-functional leadership
  • Experience understanding and using data for decision making, forecasting, and informing strategy
  • Excellent coach, mentor and ability to quickly assess top talent to build a winning team
  • Skilled at building rapport, opening doors, and understanding business requirements of senior decision makers
  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience selling a brand to the retail market
