The Lodge at Malibou Lake
Chef Cordelia is the exclusive caterer at The Lodge At Malibou Lake and is looking for line cooks to support the Chef De Cuisine in executing back of house operations for both on site and off site catering events.
The ideal candidates will have minimum two years high volume line cook and/or catering experience.
The position includes but is not limited to:
Prepping and cooking for events
Ensuring Health Department standards are being followed (FIFO, cleanliness, sanitation )
Organize fridge and dry storage according to FIFO
Keeping storage rooms organized, safe and have awareness of all items
Assist Chef with any support needed
Report any equipment damage to Chef
Lifting up to 50 lbs
Suggest new procedures for productivity and efficiency
Days, nights, weekends and some Holidays required
Opportunity for growth
Minimum 3 days per week including weekends
Serve-Safe Certified, strong time management, organization, professional demeanor, strong communication, positive under pressure.
One meal on each shift over 6 hours
Client paid gratuity
Chef Cordelia began catering events in Los Angeles in 2007. Since then we have grown steadily and organically, expanding our client and venue roster. In 2016 we secured an exclusive contract with the Malibou Lake Mountain Club, and took over management of their event space, re-conceptualizing it as The Lodge at Malibou Lake.
