Hensel Phelps is hiring an Application Support Specialist that is a team player, self-starter and possesses strong troubleshooting logic and customer service skills. Primary functions of the position include: providing support to end users both in our Greeley, CO corporate office (primary location) and remote offices (via phone and ticket system) for our accounting system (Vista by Viewpoint); accounting report writing, troubleshooting application and systems errors, and line of business application configuration in a service desk atmosphere. The successful candidate will possess the following: - An associate degree in computer information systems, or similar, and 2+ years of full-time tier-2 IT support experience; or 4+ years of full-time tier-2 IT support experience - Strong understanding of accounting principles and ERP systems - Strong technical writing skills - Task-oriented with strong organizational skills - Basic knowledge of IP address resolution, subnet mask, TCP/IP - Enterprise software installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance - Microsoft Office (2007, 2013, Office 365) SharePoint and Email basics - Windows 2008 and greater, Server Administration - Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDP) - SQL Database administration - Report writing tools such as SSRS, Crystal, and PowerBI - Web browser (IE, Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari) functionality and support - Active Directory and Exchange user management - Understanding of the Construction industry is a plus, but not required.
