FACILITIES As a member of the seasonal facilities team at "The Center" eligible candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Snow and ice removal with the use of plows, blowers and spreaders for driveways, walkways, decks, steps and additional assigned areas, which may require early hours and/or extended hours + Filling salt, sand and de-icers in storage or designated piles + Sweep and mop floors + Vacuum rugs and carpets + Dust and polish furniture + Respond to and clean any spills or overflows + Empty, clean and line waste receptacles; dispose of trash and/or recycle materials; pick up trash on ground areas + Wash doors, windows, walls and ceilings + Clean and disinfect restrooms including floors, walls, fixtures and mirrors; restock supplies as needed + Move furniture and equipment + Reports the need for maintenance and repairs to the facility manager and assist others in making repairs as needed + Cleans debris from facility grounds including parking lots + Close windows, turn lights on and off, lock and unlock doors and secure the buildings + Other duties as assigned Requirements: + Ability to speak, read and write English + Active listening and effective communication skills + Must be punctual, reliable, able to follow instructions and work as part of a team + Available to work various shifts including nights and weekends This is a seasonal position from November to March.
