Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW: Responsible for operational assignments in a 24/7 Caf style venue. Work in conjunction with Caf Leads to establish menu quality and presentation, as well as meet guest service standards and productivity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve food, beverages, or desserts to guests in such settings as take-out counters of 24/7 caf venue.

Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and transporting dishes, to keep equipment and facilities sanitary.

Scrub and polish counters, steam tables, and other equipment, and clean glasses, dishes, and fountain equipment.

Wrap menu item such as sandwiches, hot entrees, and desserts for serving or for takeout.

Prepare bills for food, using MICROS POS and accept payment or make change.

Brew coffee and tea, and fill containers with requested beverages.

Cook food or prepare food items, such as sandwiches, pizzas, and salads, using standard formulas or following directions.

Replenish foods at serving stations.

Balance receipts and payments in cash drawers.

Take guests orders and enter orders into MICROS POS, giving ticket receipts to guests when needed to identify filled orders.

Add relishes and garnishes to food orders, according to recipe/instructions.

Deliver orders to kitchens, and pick up and serve food when it is ready.

Order items needed to replenish supplies.

Set up dining areas for meals and clear them following meals.

Performing for or Working Directly with the Public - Performing for people or dealing directly with the public. This includes serving guests in restaurants and stores, and receiving clients or guests.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES/JOB DIMENSIONS: Regular attendance in conformance with the standards established by Margaritaville from time to time is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employee with irregular attendance will be subject to Margaritaville disciplinary action procedures up to and including termination.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Employee may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. This includes weekends and holidays on a 24 hour/7 day a week basis.

Upon employment, all Employees are required to fully comply with Margaritaville policies and procedures for the safe and efficient operation of Company facilities. Employees who violate Company policies and procedures are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma or equivalent.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures, amounts, discounts, percentages and apply to practical situations.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems with multiple variables.

Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization per local, state, federal, and gaming regulations.

Able to withstand/work in a high smoking environment.
