Our client is a world leader in laboratory equipment and services and has an opening for a Technical Sales Representative for its industry leading analytical instrumentation used in Pharmaceutical laboratories. This position will be covering NY, PA, NJ, DE and MD and the Technical Sales Representative should be based in Philadelphia or Newark area.

  • The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for direct sales of analytical instrumentation products and services (measuring density, concentration, viscosity, rheology, microwave and particle characterization) to R&D customers in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Primary responsibilities include both the effective management of existing customer accounts and the generation of new accounts.
  • The successful candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills and be cable of communicating equally well with PhD level scientists and QC technicians.
  • Candidate must have a B.S. degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or similar technical field and at least some experience in technical sales of analytical instrumentation.
  • Overnight travel.
Compensation Package:
The client offers a strong six figure compensation package (salary, uncapped commission, profit sharing), mileage reimbursement and a low cost outstanding benefits package for the full family that starts on day one.
