The ideal candidate for the Sales Strategist position understands the evolution and dynamics of the health care industry generally and health insurance in particular. You'll know how to make the complexities of health care understandable and relevant to people who don't understand health care. You possess the ability to recognize and frame potential stories and tell them in prose and visual formats. The right fit for this role will be someone who gets excited about developing content and executing marketing campaigns and enjoys researching complex topics and distilling them into comprehensible messages. Required Job Qualifications: * General Agent State Insurance License or secure a General Agent State Insurance License within 90 days, as necessary. * 4 years of experience in consulting, strategic planning, proposal development, sales or account management or marketing strategy/communications in a group health insurance environment. * Thorough knowledge of group health care managed products processes and trends. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills to consult with external brokers and consultants, interface with internal and external parties to resolve issues, facilitate meetings and presentations, build and implement strategies and processes, and negotiate. * Leadership and mentoring skills. * Ability to address customer needs, make sound decisions, and build strong internal and external relationships. * Ability to effectively interact with staff/management across multiple departments and levels, including executive leadership. * Strong organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills; interpersonal communication skills; persuasion skills; ability to accept direction and feedback. * Analytical skills and financial acumen to analyze reports. * PC experience and skills to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Strong presentation and group facilitation skills. * Flexibility and responsiveness in managing multiple projects concurrently. * Initiative and persistence, with ability to meet deadlines. * Ability and willingness to travel including overnight stays. Preferred Job Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in marketing or journalism * Master's degree * Marketing strategy development and implementation experience * 5-7 years B2B marketing experience, ideally in a health care environment * Ability to develop and execute multi-stage communication plans across a variety of channels and audiences. * Proactively provide creative ideas to ensure messaging is forward-looking and innovative. * Ability to oversee and execute multiple projects simultaneously while working with deadlines and changing priorities. * Meticulous attention to detail, especially regarding validating clarity and accuracy of content/information. * Excellent writing skills, both fast and well-written, and knowledge of AP style (writing samples will be requested) *CA Location: MT - Helena Activation Date: Monday, November 4, 2019 Expiration Date: Sunday, December 22, 2019
