We provide innovative and compassionate services to individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. We are looking for dedicated, caring and compassionate people to work in our Residential/Outpatient Treatment Facilities and Community Programs.Cook/Food ServiceSchedule per week: Sunday - Thursday 6:30am - 11:00amLocation: Paterson, NJJob Summary:* Operate various kitchen equipment as assigned and report any malfunctioning equipment to the Director of Food Services.* Prepare meals as per the menu instructions from the Director of Food Services.* Follow appropriate protocols as per the general food service rules at all times.* Monitor proper food temperature.* Ensure food/stock is rotated and stored properly.* Responsible for the cleanliness of the refrigerators, stoves, stock room, Dinning Room, etc.* Ensure floors are uncluttered, clean and safe.* Ensure food serving areas are constantly clean.* Responsible for the serving of all meals, on time.* Report any unsafe conditions in the kitchen immediately to the Director of Food Services.* Operate various kitchen equipment's as assigned and report any malfunctioning equipment to the Director of Food Service.Qualifications:Minimum of High School diploma/GED or One (1) year cooking experience. Ability to coordinate kitchen functions. Knowledge of food preparation and cooking methods on a large scale basis is required. Must possess effective communication skills (both verbal and written) and a pleasing attitude.
