Security Help Desk Operator - Full Time - 3rd Shift

Role and Responsibilities
As a Security Operator with Blackwell Professional Support Services, Inc., you will work in collaboration with our Operations Department and the Property Manager to oversee a physical property, assist the needs of residents/tenants and visitors with high-touch customer service, collaborate with third party vendors, and meet the demands of the property. The position reports directly to the Site Manager. Additional duties are outlined below:
Monitor security and safety conditions of property
Respond to emergencies by coordinating appropriate personnel and support agencies, such as police and fire departments
Problem-solve and assist incoming requests, determine priority of tasks, and facilitate responses
Document and follow up on all security and safety incidents
Conduct routine patrols of assigned area to ensure employee and visitor safety
Operate security systems and devices including CCT and access control systems
Provide excellent customer service to clients, vendors, and visitors
Maintain excellent communication and reporting
Provide oversight and access for all deliveries to the property
Observe and report events throughout the day
Additional property specific duties may be required

21+ years of age required
Must hold a current St. Louis Security License, or the ability to obtain one
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
A minimum of one-year security experience preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Possess a positive, team focused attitude
Computer literate with a focus on reporting
Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred
Security software experience preferred
Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Shift flexibility is desired
