Job Description
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing equipment in new and relocating locations. The Field Service Technician requires outstanding customer service while installing, diagnosing and solving retail equipment failures within service level agreements at CVS locations in service geography. The Field Service Technician position will drive required and fly between CVS locations to repair and install hardware and assist other neighboring areas with the workload.
The Field Service Technician will be required to travel extensively (up to 75%) with overnight stays weekly in the U.S, including some weekends.

Responsibilities of the Field Service Technician
Install, diagnose and repair to POS (point of sale) registers, self-checkout registers, thermal printers, laser printers, scanners, PCs, thin clients, phone systems, RF, networking, pharmacy, minute clinic, and other related computer peripherals
Work with other locations on repairs and installations
Be available to work on-call for weekday evenings, rotating weekends and holiday coverage

Required Qualifications
1-3+ years of previous hands-on technical work experience and ability to troubleshoot hardware
Valid Driver's License with no major violations
Ability to obtain a credit card or can pay for out of pocket expenses for air, hotel, meals, etc. weekly to be reimbursed by the company (reimbursement could take several weeks)
Ability to pass a substance/drug test and background test
Availability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays
Residence in the territory supported
Ability to lift laser printers, servers, heavy equipment 75lbs and occasionally work on a ladder

Technical Certifications
Technical Degree
Verifiable High School diploma or GED

Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required. Further education or Technical degree a plus.
