Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary and appropriate).* Possess, maintain, and use a practical knowledge base regarding issues and regulations affecting the campus and Environmental Services department as well as the individual residents/tenants.* Perform cleaning and sanitation duties thoroughly and in a timely manner as assigned. Follow specific instructions given in work assignments, work schedules, and/or as directed by the supervisor and ask for clarification regarding procedures as needed. These duties and instructions may be to clean resident/tenant rooms and campus common areas by performing duties which include, but are not limited to:* Coordinate cleaning schedules with resident/tenants and other staff as needed.* Clean floors including vacuum, shampoo, sweep, scrub, strip/wax, and/or polish.* Dust, clean, wash, disinfect, polish, and sterilize equipment, supplies, and building structures including, but not limited to furniture, beds, mattresses, drapes/curtains, furniture, and draperies, pictures, decorative arrangements, light fixtures, walls, ceiling, woodwork, and windows.* Empty and transport trash and waste to disposal area.* Clean and supply housekeeping cart(s).* Replace supplies in public areas including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.* Report any problems, needs, changes in condition or concerns in residents/tenants noted to Supervisor.* Document all entries accurately and completely regarding daily duties as required.* Perform all work assignments and/or work schedules as instructed by supervisor in accordance with established policies and procedures including, but not limited to Safety, Infection Control, Housekeeping, Personnel, Resident/Tenant Rights including confidentiality and grievances, Abuse and Neglect, and HIPAA. Report any concerns regarding standard of practice of other staff members immediately to supervisor.* Other duties as assigned.a
