Office assistant SOHO, NY

Pay $17/hr. Salary $38k

Fast growing technology firm in Soho seeks a college graduate to assist with day to day clerical duties. Room for growth! Must have strong communication skills and interest in digital technology & social media management.

Responsibilities:

  • Professionally answer, screen and route all incoming calls
  • Greet guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner
  • Maintain conference room schedule
  • Open and prepare reception, kitchens, conference and guest areas at beginning of day
  • Prepare expense reports and book travel arrangements
  • Coordinate catering for meetings and order lunches via seamless.com
  • Liaise with building management for facilities needs
  • Prepare all outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Assist in planning special events

Requirements:

  • College degree required
  • Minimum 1-2 years related experience
  • Punctual and dependable and the ability to prioritize duties
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and maintain flexibility
  • Keen attention to detail and extremely organized
  • Should be customer/concierge service driven
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
