### Responsibilities
If selected for this position, you will perform a range of
**Administrative Services Specialist** duties. You will receive
formal and/or on-the-job training as needed. Typical work
assignments will include:
- Providing a variety of administrative support services to the
United States Attorney's Office in most or all of the following
areas: acquisition of goods and services; property management,
including government vehicles; space management and building
services; equipment maintenance; security; supply inventories;
internal controls; records; reproduction; and communication
services.
- Analyzing the need for goods and services; and writes requests
and/or justifications for special category equipment
- Making purchases within delegated monetary authorization and
guidelines.
- Providing input to budget requests for equipment, furniture, and
supplies.
- Oversees the maintenance and report documentation of government
vehicles.
- Serving as the Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA)
Coordinator.
Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more
complex as your training and experience progress.

### Qualifications
**GS-07 Level:** You must have 1 year of specialized experience at a
level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-05 grade
level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this
position includes providing administrative support services such as
purchasing supplies and equipment; performing monthly reconciliation
of government charge cards; maintaining inventory of accountable
property; facilities management; and tracking and controlling
budgetary data relating to support service activities.

**Education:** One full year of graduate education in a closely
related field (e.g., Criminal Justice, Law); Education at the
graduate level must be in an accredited college or university and
must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to
perform the duties of the position

**Combining Education and Experience:** Combinations of successfully
completed graduate education and experience may be used to meet
total qualifications requirements.

**Superior Academic Achievement:** Possess a Bachelor's Degree or
expect to complete the requirements for a Bachelor's degree within
the next nine (9) months AND possess at least one of the following
criteria: class standing in the upper third of the graduating class;
an overall GPA of 3.0 OR at least a 3.0 based on courses completed
during the final two years of your curriculum; a GPA of at least 3.5
based on the average of required courses completed in my major field
OR based on the average of required courses completed during the
final two years of your curriculum; OR election to membership in a
national scholastic honor society.
**Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)-** The ICTAP
provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees
with selection priority over other candidates for competitive
