Job Description

The hostess responsibility is to greet all guests who enter the restaurant with passion and enthusiasm. Possess the ability to listen effectively, process information quickly, and transfer knowledge to others in order to ensure standards of quality are met consistently

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Graciously escorts guests to their table, and provides menus to them and give a tour of beverage book once seated
Coordinates the operation of the dining room during meal service periods, adjusting seating flow in such a manner as to balance guests among the various service stations
Takes all to-go orders and re-confirms to guest to ensure proper items are rung into the point of sale system
Answers telephone calls to the restaurant
Takes reservations

Job Requirements:
Must have professional appearance and attitude
Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours while maintaining a fun and positive attitude
Ability to deal with multiple tasks effectively and establish priorities while in a fast-paced environment
