Montereau is currently seeking a PRN (as needed) Housekeeper.


The housekeeper is primarily responsible for the daily cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned commons areas, hallways, residential units, rest rooms, dining rooms, offices and furniture.

The position will work as needed, filling in when FT employees are off work. Typical shift to be filled is 7:30am - 4:00pm or 6:00am-2:30pm. Qualifications: High school graduate or GED preferred.

Position requires a minimum of one to three years experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hospitality or health care environment.
Must possess and exhibit a strong positive attitude toward customer service and a genuine interest in serving seniors.
Requires constant standing and walking.
Must be able to lift and/or carry objects up to 25 pounds.
Requires reaching above, below and at shoulder level.
Must be able to operate the following types of equipment to perform job: Upright and area vacuums, back-pac vac, wet/dry vac, carpet extractor, large trash carts and trash compactor.
Must be able to follow written and verbal directions and possess basic english language skills to meet business needs for communication with resident customers.
