Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time

Locations: Parkville, NKC, KC, SKC, Grandview, Independence, Raytown and Liberty

-Community Living, Community Support and Day Hab

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Facilitating community and recreational outings, including transport
  • Providing companionship and conversation
  • Providing support with hobbies, studies and social activities
  • Transporting client to appointments
  • Ability to document daily activities, changes and needs via Therap
  • Light housekeeping and meal prep
  • Administering medication

  • Providing direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities

  • Assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live a self-directed life
  • Complete all daily, weekly, and monthly records, reports, logs, progress notes, location reports, and medical records in a timely fashion
  • Teach and assist with everyday living skills, support individuals with community activities including paid employment and volunteer opportunities, facilitate community relationships
  • Assist each client, as needed, in skill development in areas such as activities of daily living, domestic living, recreation, socialization
