We are currently looking for a Regional Operations Controller to join our Finance team. Based in Juarez, CH, MX and reporting to the CFO. This position will support manufacturing operations and requires a highly developed analytical skill set, ability to analyze and reconcile data, and work with appropriate supervision in completing the required finance and accounting functions. The Regional Operations Controller also needs to possess a great deal of insight; able to connect facts and occurrences that have significant meaning in identifying, analyzing, and assisting in reducing Factory / Operational variances.

Responsibilities

* Partner with plant management to analyze cost variances, expenditures, material losses, and labor utilization while identifying opportunities to improve results
* Responsible for understanding all manufacturing costs, managing bill of materials, reviewing all cost variances
* Work with Plant Management in analyzing cost variances and potential areas of opportunity
* Review plant performance on a weekly basis with management and provide financial analysis of variances
* Prepare monthly executive level financial reports
* Assist with monthly financial close activities and other reporting/ad hoc analyses
* Prepare annual budget and monthly forecast for plants
* Assist with plant capital projects as needed
* Work with plant on plant related inventory, accounting and SAP processes
* Cross-train with other plant finance functions in the management of the bill of material process
* Assist and partner with business leaders on implementation of cost improvements

Qualifications

* BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field, MBA or CPA preferred
* 7-15 years of finance or accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
* Advanced knowledge of Excel, Hyperion, and SAP preferred
* Ability to work independently
