This position is for a Technical Lead service design and planning for hosted collaboration solutions over client MPLS network. The primary job functions of the position are:

Define service scope, design technical solution, plan and drive the implementation video conferencing service using unified voice and video solutions, router and switches.

Ensure solution interoperability with transport services, network protocols, VOIP services and other systems and infrastructure

Provide support to product, sales, technical teams and vendors for solution development, deployment and critical customer requirements.

Deliver technical service description and system requirement and provide training to Technical Marketing, Sales and Customer support teams in US and worldwide for Managed Global IP Services with IPv6.

Perform detailed analysis to identify required hardware & software and work with vendors to ensure they can meet Managed Services product line and development timelines.


Must have hosted collaboration solution (HCS) experience

Strong knowledge of Datacenter technologies (Cisco/VMware experience preferred) / design

Strong knowledge of network infrastructure technologies (Cisco experience preferred) / design

Experience with Cisco UCS, Fabric Interconnects, SAN, VMware based virtualization (vCenter, vSphere, etc.)

Experience with network / datacenter security

Expert knowledge in MPLS, QOS, PPP, FRAME-RELAY, ATM design and configuration

Expert knowledge in Cisco Routers, switches and IP Telephony product including Call Manager and other UC products.

Expert level knowledge in both IPV4 Routing protocols, MPLS, QOS, Multicast, Internet security protocols, GLBP, Router redundancy techniques, and their functionalities.

Expert level knowledge in VoIP, Codecs, compression and video conferencing services, such as Cisco Telepresence, Cisco 7070 phones, Call Manager version 7.x.

Strong technical documentation, engineering rules, processes and procedures writing skills, and experience in technical training and presentations to technical, operations & sales communities.

Leadership ability to drive projects and solutions large teams consisting of internal organizations and vendors.

Good understanding of end to end service development from pre-concept to operational support

Experience with Service Providers a plus

CCIE preferred
