The?Customer Service?Clerk performs guest service duties including; answering the telephone, cashing checks, accepting and entering payments for utilities, sending wire transfers, shelf stocking and back-room duties, including spill clean up, general housekeeping and other duties as may be assigned by management. When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest. Follows daily work schedule as assigned by management. Follows dress code in accordance with team member handbook and video training film. Performs service counter duties including but not limited to; answering the telephone, cashing checks, accepting and entering payments for Western Union, helping guests with Western Union wire transfers, making money orders, lifting, stocking product, blocking, facing, dusting, and ordering. These duties may include sacking and checking duties as needed. Must be attentive at all times to needs of guests and be ready and able to direct/take guest to items in question. Performs other duties as requested or required by management.
Must be 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must meet the requirements of a sacker and checker. Ability to work at fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner. Ability to perform all physical aspects of duties, including but not limited to bending, standing in place, lifting, squatting, climbing?walking and at times running. Ability to talk to and hear guests. Ability to operate all checker equipment, office equipment, Post office equipment, and count money and make change, Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude.
