The Regional Sales Directoris primarily responsible for generating new sales opportunities and managing the sales process to a successful conclusion. We are looking for an energetic self-starter who is proactive in driving revenue and increasing our client base. You must be results-driven and committed to creating new business opportunities in a dynamic marketplace. Candidate must have strong communications skills.
- Prospect for new sales opportunities primarily in the hospital market.
- Manage the sales process to completion, including coordination with supporting company resources such as IT, Compliance, Implementation Marketing, Client Relations and various operational groups.
- Evaluate prospective sales opportunities and direct resources as appropriate to drive successful results.
- Close sales, including contract negotiation around agreement on scope of work and financial structure.
- Manage multi-state territory with extensive overnight travel.
- Prepare and present proposals to prospective clients.
- Represent the company at state, regional and national trade association meetings.
- Excellent communication capabilities.
- Ability to strive in a high activity environment with a focus on new business generation.
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with a serious work ethic.
- Ability to maintain a high activity level on a daily basis in order to meet objectives.
- Experience selling into the healthcare market with healthcare information technology (HIT) experience strongly preferred. Additional experience selling services is applicable.
- 5+ years experience in new business generation, and outside sales.
- College degree.
- History of success including formal sales training
- Ability to manage a complex sale involving multiple decision makers and influencers.
- Ability to work from a home office and travel within a multi-state territory
- Strong computer skills.
