Responsibilities

  • Assists with front desk operations in a dedicated pediatric hospital (e.g. greeting visitors, issuing passes, providing directions, filing, and answering phones, ect.).
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ensure coordination with Security and other units within the hospital.
    • Provides customer service to patients, families, physicians and colleagues
    • Represents a positive and professional image to the patients and families through personal telephone contact.
    • Verifies identification of visitors prior to their entry
    • Issues visitor passes
    • Records entry of vendors, governmental officials, etc.
    • Provides directions to visitors to variety units within the hospital
    • Other duties assigned by the manager.


Qualifications

Training & Education:

  • High School graduate, General Equivalency Diploma (GED)

Experience:

-One-year or more secretarial or customer service experience. Computer experience essential.
