Perform various maintenance and repair work. Inspect, adjust, align, balance, and level pumps, fans and other rotating machinery as required. Perform preventive maintenance tasks including checks, repairs, adjustment or replacement of couplings, bearings and mounts. Welding, overhead cranes, pumps, conveyors, compressors and gearboxes. Must be capable of assuming tasks without close supervision.
Five years experience with working knowledge in the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment; formal technical or apprentice training or equivalent combination of education and experience; welder certification required; R-stamp certified is preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and other procedure manuals. Ability to speak and communicate effectively with supervisors and other employees.
